James Cartwright is Associate Portfolio Manager for LIFT-Invest. The Investment Committee: James is a voting member, he provides insights and support to other committee members.

Within his role, James meets with and reviews fund managers, conducts quantitative and qualitative investment analysis, and writes investment market communications for internal and external stakeholders. James sits on the Investment Committee in a voting capacity where he provides research insights and support to other committee members.

James joined the industry in 2019, working for a well-known execution-only investment platform before joining LIFT-Invest in December 2020 due to his desire to move into a more analytical role within asset management.

James holds the full Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA UK and the International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management from CISI, a qualification for which he received additional praise given his result of 96/100. He continues to study with the CISI as he endeavours to achieve his long-term professional development goal of attaining the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.
