The Investment Committee: Dan plays a key role in the development and management of the committee

Dan Thompson, CFA is the Head of Brooks Invest. In this role, he leads the investment team, frequently presents to clients and advisers, and manages investment portfolios effectively to achieve clients’ financial objectives. Dan has worked with the Investment Committee at Brooks Invest since 2017, occupying a number of different posts in that time, and has played a key role in the development of Brooks Invest, which now manages over £500m of discretionary assets.

Dan is keen to impart valuable financial market insights to his clients and, as well as writing investment market commentaries records a monthly podcast made available on Spotify. On his investment podcast, Dan provides his thoughts on topical market events and regularly invites fund managers and guest speakers to share their views.

Citywire Wealth Manager recognised Dan as one of the ‘2023 Top 30 under 30′, which showcases the best young talent in today’s industry. Dan is a CFA Charterholder and has attained the IMC from CFA UK and the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
